A pharmaceutical composition for suppressing angiogenesis is provided to suppress the biological function of ubiquinone-binding protein (QP-C) and oxygen sensing function of mictochondria complex III. A pharmaceutical composition for suppressing angiogenesis comprises a compound of the chemical formula 1 and pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. In the chemical formula 1, R1-R12 are separately hydrogen, halo, hydroxyl, cyano, amino, nitro, nitroso, C1-C6 alkoxy, aryl, heteroaryl, arylalkyl, arylakenyl or alkylaryl. The composition of the chemical formula 1 is DPCN [4-((2,5-dimethylphenyldioxysulfone)amino)-2-chloronaphthalen-1-ol]. |
