RICE COOKER USING PRESSURE

PURPOSE: A pressure rice cooker is provided to pressurize the gap between the surfaces of an inner pot and a lid to be tightened instead of using a rubber ring, thereby increasing the upper most limit of pressure raising the pressure in the inner pot, and consequently cooking shiny and tasty rice. CONSTITUTION: A pressure rice cooker(10) comprises a main body(100), an inner pot(200), and a lid(300). The main body is formed with at least one accommodation unit(120) consisting of a first and a second diameter part formed in the height direction of the top surface of the main body. The inner pot is formed on the upper part with an opening whose both sides is provided with a flange unit(240) formed to be extended to the outside in the circumferential direction and to be accommodated in the accommodation unit. The lid comprises at least one insertion part formed on the position corresponding to the accommodation unit, and a pressure control unit installed in the insertion part to be connected with the upper part of the accommodation unit. The position on which the second diameter part is formed is higher than the position of the first diameter part. The pressure control unit includes a sealing part(420) settled on a mounting part formed between the first and the second diameter part, a rod(440) formed with a steam discharge path with a fixed width on the center part and connected the top surface of the sealing part with a pressure spring inserted into the circumferential surface, and a movable part(460) connected to the rod to be integrally rotatable.
