PURPOSE: A powder transferring valve module and an operating method thereof are provided to maintain airtightness by attaching an airtight unit to the surface of a valve disc because the airtight unit is expanded. CONSTITUTION: A powder transferring valve module comprises a valve body(100), a valve disc(200), a cooling unit(300), and an airtight unit(400). A flow path through which high temperature and high pressure powders are transferred in one direction is formed in the valve body. Both ends of the valve disc are rotatably coupled to the valve body at a right angle to the flow path to open and close the flow path. The cooling unit cools the valve body and the valve disc heated by the powders in a state where the valve disc closes the flow path. The airtight unit mounted on the valve body is contacted to the surface of the valve disc to maintain an airtight state while being expanded from the valve body by supplying high pressure gas. The airtight unit limits the rotation of the valve disc. |
