Disclosed is a lithium secondary battery, wherein inorganic oxide particles, in which the amount of elution of alkali metal elements during immersion in ion exchange water is lowered to less than 1000 ppm, are bound by a binder to form a porous membrane, and a separator comprising the porous membrane is used to construct the lithium secondary battery. Thus, a lithium secondary battery which has high reliability and little degradation in the characteristics thereof during long-term use and long-term storage can be provided. |
