The invention relates to a safety switch system which comprises a plurality of safety switches (LSn), especially line safety switches, which are connected via lines (Lnm) to a system component (SKn) of a power distribution system (EN) and are provided with a control knob (BEn). Said control knob is led through an operating panel (BF) and can be actuated from the front face (FS) thereof for triggering the respective safety switch (LSn). A coupling element (KEn) for exchanging diagnostic and/or parameterization data (DDP) is associated with the one or with all safety switches (LSn) and is also accessible from the front face (FS) of the operating panel (BF).
