<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retrieve a communication device matched with a condition even when a function is not informed preliminarily. <P>SOLUTION: When a retrieval request received by a retrieval request reception part 11 is not a request for retrieving the device itself, a retrieval request transfer part 16 transfers the retrieval request to another communication device. On the other hand, when the retrieval request received by the retrieval request reception part 11 is a request for retrieving the device itself, a response transmission part 14 transmits a response to the retrieval request to a transmission source of the retrieval request.
