<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyarylene sulfide (PAS) resin composition capable of allowing a molded article obtained therefrom to have improved insulation life in the thickness direction thereof and to provide the molded article obtained by using the PAS resin composition. <P>SOLUTION: The PAS resin composition contains a polyarylene sulfide resin (A), an epoxy resin (B), an amorphous polymer (C) having an oxazoline group and a magnesium compound (D) as essential components.
