<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition which has satisfactory flame retardancy, heat resistance and solubility in organic solvents. <P>SOLUTION: The epoxy resin composition includes a phosphorus atom-containing epoxy resin having a resin structure represented by structural formula (1), wherein X is a structural site represented by structural formula (x1) or (x2); Y is a hydrogen atom, hydroxy, or a structural site represented by the structural formula (x1) or (x2); R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>is a hydrogen atom, 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, phenyl or the structural formula (x1) or (x2); and n indicates a repeating unit and is an integer of 1 or more; and in the structural formula (x1) or (x2), R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">4</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">5</SP>each independently represents a hydrogen atom, 1-4C alkyl, phenyl, or aralkyl. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
