<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for attaining a small radiation imaging apparatus whose sensitivity can be adjusted. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a radiation imaging apparatus which includes: a detector which has a detection surface on which a plurality of detection areas for detecting radiation are arranged like an array on the radiation incident side and generates signals according to amounts of the radiation made incident on the respective detection areas; one or more adjustment plates on which a plurality of transmission areas for transmitting the radiation are arranged like an array, which shield the radiation made incident on areas except the plurality of transmission areas, and adjust the amounts of the radiation to be made incident on the plurality of detection areas; a holding part which holds the one or more adjustment plates so that positions where the one or more adjustment plates cover the detection surface of the detector can be moved along the detection surface; and a drive part which moves the one or more adjustment plates, in which the drive part can fix the one or more adjustment plates to a plurality of positions to the detection surface, area of a part of the detection areas on which the radiation which transmits the one or more adjustment plates is made incident is different depending on the positions of the one or more adjustment plates to the detection surface in at least one of the plurality of detection areas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
