PURPOSE: A pump gear is provided to prevent abrasion even in case of utilizing fluid with low viscosity as a driven rotor can be idled in a three-point engagement posture. CONSTITUTION: A pump gear comprises a driving rotor(7) and a driven rotor(9). The driving rotor and the driven rotor have an initial engagement posture and a three-point engagement posture. The initial engagement posture is a posture that teeth of the driving rotor and driven rotor are in contact at a second spot. The initial engagement posture is rotated, thereby becoming into the three-point engagement posture. The three-point engagement posture is a posture that the teeth of the driving rotor and driven rotor are in contact at the second spot, a spot where the second spot is moved by the rotation, and a first spot which is higher than the moved second spot.
