PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a cost reduction without sacrificing image quality.

SOLUTION: An X-ray detector 103 has a plurality of sparsely arranged effective detecting elements. Each of the effective detecting elements detect a radiation transmitted through an analyte and generates electric signals corresponding to detected X rays. A pretreatment portion 106 produces projection data based on the produced electric signals. A reconfiguration portion 114 reconfigures a CT image regarding the analyte from the produced projection data using a successive approximate reconstruction.
