摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode material for aluminum electrolytic capacitor, the electrode material having improved bending strength and the volumetric efficiency of the capacitance while eliminating the need for etching process, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: An electrode material for aluminum electrolytic capacitor comprises, as constituents: a sintered body of at least one kind of powder of aluminum and an aluminum alloy; and an aluminum foil base material supporting the sintered body. In the electrode material for the aluminum electrolytic capacitor, (1) the powder has an average particle diameter D<SB POS="POST">50</SB>of 0.5-100 &mu;m, (2) the sintered body is formed on one or both surfaces of the aluminum foil base material, and the total thickness of the sintered body is 10-1000 &mu;m, (3) the sintered body has a porosity of 35-49 vol%, and (4) the sintered body is obtained by rolling a membrane composed of a composition containing at least one kind of powder of aluminum and an aluminum alloy, and then sintering the membrane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
