<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device in which variation of a temperature distribution in an axial direction of a cylindrical rotor at the heating side is suppressed, and an image forming apparatus using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The fixing apparatus includes: a cylindrical heating rotor 1 having a heating source and a pressure rotor 2 in which a fixing nip part is formed by arranging the heating rotor 1 and a peripheral surface to be in contact with each other. On one end or both ends in a rotation axis direction of the heating rotary 1, a disk-like outside plate 5 exposed to the outside is provided. On an inner peripheral surface of the heating rotary 1 at the inner side of the outside plate 5, a disk-like inside plate 6 at an interval from the outside plate 5 is provided. On the outside plate 5, a center side vent hole 7 is provided in the vicinity of the center, and a peripheral side vent hole 8 is provided in the periphery or vicinity, and moreover, a flow path that communicates the center side vent hole 7 and an outer edge side vent hole 8 is provided between the outside plate 5 and the inside plate 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
