<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate focusing in photographing, without making an operator conscious of switching between a standard mode and macro mode during photographing. <P>SOLUTION: The image is varied in power by moving a zoom lens based on an input zoom operation (S120), and a proximity limit position of a focus lens with respect to a subject is obtained in the position of the moved zoom lens (S130, S140). When the target position of the focus lens which is required for an image to keep in focus after the movement of the zoom lens is on the side of an imaging surface rather than on the side of a threshold obtained based on the proximity limit position, the focus lens is moved, thereby focusing an image on an imaging surface (S150 to S180). Conversely, when the target position of the focus lens is on the side of a subject rather than on the side of the threshold, the zoom lens is moved to the wide side (S190 and so on), and then the focus lens is moved for focusing (S140 to S180). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
