<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator which estimates an amount of food inside a low pressure compartment to change its cooling time and allows optimum food storage. <P>SOLUTION: The refrigerator has such a configuration that its body is internally provided with a plurality of storerooms, the low pressure compartment with the inside kept airtight from the outside at least in part of the plurality of storerooms, a vacuum pump for decompressing the inside of the low pressure compartment, and a freezing cycle and a cold passage is further provided so as to introduce cold air from the freezing cycle into the plurality of storerooms. The refrigerator also includes a damper device for opening and closing the cold passage at least in the cold passage heading for the low pressure compartment and controls the opening/closing time of the damper device according to the running time of the vacuum pump. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
