<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque measuring instrument in the shape suitable for torque measurement of a rotational axis which rotates at high speed. <P>SOLUTION: A torque measuring instrument has: a pair of flange parts 120 to which each one end facing each other of two rotational axes is fixed; and a connection part 130 which connects the pair of flange parts. The connection part has the shape that a thin part 133 whose thickness in the radial direction is relatively thin and a thick part 134 whose thickness in the radial direction is relatively thick that are alternately arranged in plurality by interposing a penetration part which penetrates in the radial direction, in an orbiting direction which orbits around a rotational center line.
