TARGET SUBSTANCE DETECTION PLATE, TARGET SUBSTANCE DETECTOR AND TARGET SUBSTANCE DETECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target substance detection plate enabling efficient measurement of a target substance by including a detection chip that consists of an optical prism and a detection plate, which are used for an SPR sensor and a light waveguide mode sensor, that can be downsized and be manufactured easily at a low cost by reducing the number of parts in the detection chip and that is capable of rapidly detecting the target substance with high sensitivity and capable of easily sending tested liquid.

SOLUTION: A target substance detection plate comprises: a transparent plate body in which a storage part for storing a detection chip and a channel for sending tested liquid to the storage part are formed; and the detection chip to be stored in the storage part. The detection chip includes a detection groove that is formed on one surface of a plate-like transparent substrate part for transmitting light and is connected to the channel to introduce the tested liquid. The detection groove is formed by arranging at least an electric-field enhancement layer on an inner surface of a groove part that is formed so as to include a slope inclined at one gradient to the one surface. An outermost surface contacting the tested liquid in the detection groove is determined to be a surface for detection.
