<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model generation apparatus capable of easily generating a tire model which can be used for analysis according to a mesh-free method. <P>SOLUTION: Two-dimensional cross section data representing a cross-sectional shape of a tire are acquired, a plurality of nodal points are generated in a normalized area, delaunay division is performed on the plurality of nodal points in the normalized area to generate subcell areas, the mapping of the normalized area divided into the subcell areas is performed by using a mapping function for the cross-sectional data, and a plurality of subcell areas 4 are generated in the cross-sectional data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
