PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer device capable of reducing unnecessary rotation of the magnet rotor and behavior of the pointer occurring when the exciting coil is switched from a non-excitation state to an excitation state, or when the exciting coil is switched from an excitation state to a non-excitation state.
SOLUTION: When a microcomputer switches from a non-excitation state where the application of a drive voltage to an A-phase and a B-phase exciting coils is stopped, to a state where a drive voltage having a phase of π/4 and a duty cycle of 70% is applied to the A-phase and the B-phase exciting coils to stop the magnet rotor, the duty cycle of the drive voltage having a phase of π/4 is gradually increased from 0 to 70%. In addition, when the microcomputer switches from the state where a drive voltage having a phase of π/4 and a duty cycle of 70% is applied to the A-phase and the B-phase exciting coils to stop the magnet rotor, to the non-excitation state where the application of a drive voltage to the A-phase and the B-phase exciting coils is stopped, the duty cycle of the drive voltage having a phase of π/4 is gradually decreased to finally stop the application of the drive voltage.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
