<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary connector device preventing a flat cable from being buckled with an inexpensive and simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary connector device includes a spacer 50 disposed in an annular space between a rotor and a stator, for supporting a roller 45 for inverting a winding direction of a flat cable, and being formed of a high slippage resin. An annular flat plate 51 of the spacer 50 includes: first guides 55 provided at equal intervals, the first guides 55 each being formed by connecting an inner guide rib 56 having a semicircular cross-section projected inward and an outer guide rib 57 having a semicircular cross-section projected outward by using a tension wall 58; second guides 60 provided between the first guides 55, each being formed by connecting three flat ribs 61 extending from an inner peripheral side to an outer peripheral side and parallel to each other by using a coupling wall 63 extending in a circumferential direction; and lightening holes 59 and 68 provided between the inner guide ribs and the outer guide ribs and in outer peripheral side portions of the second guides, respectively. Route regulation of the flat cable by the first and second guides and reduction in slide resistance by a high slippage property and weight saving of the spacer prevent the flat cable from being buckled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
