<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external medium interface device which reduces a period for performing a validity confirmation test. <P>SOLUTION: An external medium interface device 100 comprising storage means access control means 45, external medium access means 41 and 52, and an encrypting unit 43 comprises: path construction means 53 which, if being in an encrypting unit test mode, constructs a path for a test between the storage means access control means and the external medium access means; data sorting means 44 and 60 which obtain test data read by the storage means access control means and sorts the transmission destination of the test data; and data comparison means 51 which holds first data sorted by the data sorting means, obtains second data which is sorted to the encrypting unit by the data sorting means and encrypted by the encrypting unit, and compares the first and second data with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
