Disclosed are an onion and ginger tea for preventing cold and a preparation method thereof. The tea, using scallion, zingiber, fermented soybean, Chinese date and brown sugar as the raw materials is prepared by the processes of extracting, concentrating, pelletizing etc.; the same is effective in expelling wind and removing cold, and preventing the common cold.
