<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collator that can save power and easily cope with requirement for various actions. <P>SOLUTION: The collator includes a plurality of units 10A, 10B each constituted of a predetermined number of sheet feeding frames 16 and sheet feeding means 18 each corresponding to the sheet feeding frames 16 respectively, a transfer drive motor 302 for driving a transfer means 14, a sheet-feeding drive motor 312 comprised of a servomotor that drives the sheet feeding means belonging to the units, an encoder 32 that detects the rotation angle of the transfer drive motor 302, and a controller 24 that controls the rotation of the sheet-feeding drive motor 312 comprised of a servomotor in a manner of causing the same to follow the rotation of the transfer drive motor 302 according to the rotation angle detected by the encoder 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
