<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fan that has a multi-blade inducer, high efficiency in air blowing, and low noise, and to provide a vacuum cleaner using the same. <P>SOLUTION: An inducer 125 has a configuration formed of two components of an inducer A125a and an inducer B125b. Blades A127a and 127b are provided with engagements 143a and 143b, respectively. The engagements 143a and 143b are configured to prevent a pressure surface 144b of the blade B127b from protruding higher than a pressure surface 144a of the blade 127a, or a negative pressure surface 145a of the blade A127a from protruding higher than a negative pressure surface 145b of the blade B127b.
