<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage multiplier circuit which increases an input voltage, supplies power to an electric load from input of a low voltage lower than a threshold voltage thereof, has current consumption smaller than a circuit by prior art, is manufactured at a low cost, and is in a small size. <P>SOLUTION: A multiplier circuit (100) in which a voltage Vdc is applied to first input of the circuit comprises: a first capacitor (104) and a second capacitor (106); coupling means (108, 110, 112, 114) capable of electrically coupling a first terminal of each capacitor to a zero potential and a second terminal of each capacitor to a potential equal to Vdc in a first state, and electrically coupling the first terminal of the first capacitor to the potential Vdc, the second terminal of the second capacitor to the zero potential, the second terminal of the first capacitor to a first output terminal, and a first terminal of the second capacitor to a second output terminal in a second state; and control means (116) capable of controlling change from one state to the other state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
