The device (30) i.e. stabilizer (32), has longitudinal levers (42, 44) arranged at two axial ends of a torsion portion (31), where the device is made of composite material. The torsion portion comprises two torsion profiles (34, 36) that are connected with the longitudinal levers under torsion prestresses, where the torsion prestresses exhibit same magnitude and opposite direction such that the torsion prestresses mutually cancel each other. The profiles are formed with screw thread-shaped or rope-shaped wound reinforcement fiber strands (46) that are surrounded by matrix material. The reinforcement fiber strands are formed from carbon fibers, glass fibers, basalt fibers, plastic fibers or natural fibers, and the matrix material is selected from a group consisting of duroplastic material, thermoplastic material, ceramic material and/or metallic material.
