PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which ensures that a user recognizes that images displayed in respective areas are identical by notifying the user that the images displayed in a plurality of areas in the same screen are identical.

SOLUTION: A display control device comprises: display control means which displays images respectively in a plurality of areas in the same screen; operation means which accepts a user's operation for applying prescribed processing to the images displayed in the respective areas; determination means for determining whether identical images are displayed in the plurality of areas; notifying means for notifying the user that the respective images are identical when identical images are displayed in the plurality of areas; and processing means for applying the prescribed processing to the images displayed in the respective areas according to the user's operation.
