<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a part feeder and an adjustment method of the part feeder capable of performing adjustment works such as a preparation work and status data reference in a satisfactory working condition on each part feeder. <P>SOLUTION: A tape feeder 5 includes: a tape feeder mechanism 20; a feeder control section 19 that controls the tape feeder mechanism 20 and a tape collection mechanism 27; and a rechargeable battery 24 that is charged by being electrically connected when the tape feeder 5 is mounted on an electronic component mounting apparatus 1. With this, when the tape feeder 5 is in an off-line state being dismounted from the electronic component mounting apparatus 1, the drive power can be supplied to the tape feeder mechanism 20, the tape collection mechanism 27 and the feeder control section 19 from the rechargeable battery 24.
