<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating agent excellent in flameproofing a synthetic resin member and the flameproof synthetic resin member using the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the flameproof synthetic resin member, the coating agent layer in dry mass of 50 g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>is laminated on the entire surface of a plate-like acrylic resin as the synthetic resin member with a thickness of 3 mm, wherein an acrylic resin layer with a thickness of 100 μm as a protective layer is formed on the surface of the coating agent layer. A film is formed when the coating agent is coated on the surface of the synthetic resin member. The coating agent includes an aqueous solution of potassium silicate represented by chemical formula K<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O/nSiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>(n=1.9-3.7), and pH of the aqueous solution is required to be 10.0-13.8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
