<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave power generation apparatus that obtains power generating energy larger than control energy for driving a drive weight by generating electric power with wave power energy efficiently absorbed by driving the drive weight. <P>SOLUTION: The wave power generation apparatus includes: a control section 14 for driving, by means of feedback control based on acceleration of a floating body 1, the drive weight 2 in a direction for reducing sway of the floating body 1; and a power generator 15 converting swaying motion of the drive weight 2 into power generating energy. On the basis of a mass ratio between the floating body 1 and the drive weight 2 and a feed back gain of the acceleration by the control section 14, an attenuation coefficient of the power generator 15 is set such that the power generating energy is larger than the control energy that drives the drive weight 2 by means of the control section 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
