<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new plum liquor like alcoholic beverage with plum liquor like flavor regardless of a short production period and without the need of a ripening period, and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The plum liquor like alcoholic beverage being the alcoholic beverage without the ripening period, comprises at least one of the following ingredients (A) and (B): (A) benzaldehyde (B) benzyl alcohol and furfural. Preferably, the content of the benzaldehyde is at least 10 ppm, benzyl alcohol is at least 1 ppm, and furfural is at least 0.1 ppm.
