<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water quality improving implement effectively improving the water quality of a water tank, tank, water reservoir, fishery farms and the like, and a method for improving water quality using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The water quality improving implement includes a porous container having a plurality of communication holes communicating with inside and outside and capable of filling and holding zeolite particles thereinside, and a float connected to the upper part of the porous container through a connector, and is constituted so that a part of the float is above the water surface when the porous container filled with the zeolite particles thereinside is sunk in the water and that the porous container is held in a state of floating in the water. By floating the water quality improving implement inside the water reservoir, tank and the like reserving water containing hazardous material such as impurities, radioactive substances and the like, the hazardous substance contained in the water is adsorbed by the zeolite inside the porous container and is removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
