<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance device or the like with improved throughput, configured to convey a sheet-like object stored in a roll shape and reversely convey the object in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: This conveyance device includes a drive roller for delivering a sheet-like medium held in a roll shape to a conveyance passage, a roll rotating part for taking up the medium by rotating the medium held in the roll shape, and a control part for conveying the medium by controlling drive thereof. The drive roller is provided with a driven roller for pressing the medium to an opposite position across the medium. The driven roller is provided with an encoder. The control part stops the drive of the drive roller first with looseness between the drive roller and the medium held in the roll shape in taking up the medium by driving the drive roller and the roll rotating part, and afterwards, immediately stops electric current supply to a motor of the roll rotating part when the encoder detects rotation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
