<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control apparatus and control method capable of decreasing the capacity of a capacitor for removing a ripple of an electric current to be supplied to an LED. <P>SOLUTION: A control apparatus, supplying a voltage of one phase of an AC voltage output from a generator 10 to a load and rectifying the AC voltage to control lighting of an LED 40, includes a first switch 22 that is connected between an output section of the generator and the LED and supplies a voltage of the other phase of the AC voltage to the LED, and a capacitor 24 that is connected in parallel to the LED, between a terminal connected to the LED of the first switch 22 and the ground, and is supplied with a voltage of the other phase of the AC voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
