<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystalline aromatic polyester resin composition and a film which have excellent heat resistance and in which gel is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: A highly heat-resistant crystalline polyester and a film using the same are provided. An aromatic polyester includes an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component and a spiroglycol component. The spiroglycol component has a number of moles in the range of 81-100 mol% based on the number of moles of the total aromatic dicarboxylic acid component and has number-average molecular weight in the range of 12,000-32,000. Furthermore, the ratio of a low-molecular-weight component having molecular weight of 6,000 or less is 15 mass% or less based on the mass of the highly heat-resistant crystalline polyester. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
