<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device capable of ensuring high detection accuracy of a position sensor while suppressing the manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: A lens barrel 100 includes a master flange 112, a fourth lens frame 108, a focus motor 518, an attachment plate 517, and a position sensor 601. The focus motor 518 drives the fourth lens frame 108. The attachment plate 517 is provided integrally with the focus motor 518. The position sensor 601 detects the position of the fourth lens frame 108. The position sensor 601 is fixed to the attachment plate 517.
