<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an optical recording medium capable of high capacity recording. <P>SOLUTION: Grooves and lands respectively having concave and convex profiles viewed from the entrance surface side of laser light are formed, and both the grooves and the lands are used as recording tracks for recording and reproducing information. A pitch for a groove and a land mutually adjoining as the recording tracks is set within the range of 200 nm to 250 nm in the recording layer. Laser light having the wavelength of 400 nm to 415 nm is irradiated on the recording track through an optical system with NA=0.85±0.1 so that information is recorded or reproduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
