<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sorter in which granular materials flow down without splashing on a surface of a chute in a state that the granular materials are scattered in a width direction of the chute, even when a storage amount of the granular materials in a storing unit is decreased. <P>SOLUTION: The optical sorter includes: the storing unit for sorting the granular materials; a delivery unit for delivering the granular materials stored in the storing unit; the tilted chute having a predetermined width that makes the granular materials delivered from the delivery unit flow down on the surface thereof; an optical detection unit for detecting the granular materials flowing down from a lower end of the chute at a predetermined position; an ejector unit for eliminating and sorting the granular materials base on a detection result by the optical detection unit; and a changing unit capable of changing a flow-down width of the granular material flowing down on the surface of the chute. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
