Provided is a battery pack in which battery modules, which have a plurality of serially connected battery cells or unit modules, are serially connected in a state of being either closely attached or closely stacked. The battery pack comprises: a fuse serially connected to an electrical connection circuit of the battery modules; and a circuit breaker installed on an outer surface of at least one of the battery modules in order to carry electric current when the battery cells expand, and electrically connected to the electric connection circuit in order to suspend power supplied to the fuse when carrying electric current due to the expansion of the battery cells.
