METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CLOUD PLAYBACK IN REARVIEW MIRROR SYSTEM

Disclosed are a method and device for cloud playback in a rearview mirror system. The method comprises the steps of: transmitting to a remote network server a request for playback of a multimedia file; receiving and displaying playback information returned by the remote network server on the basis of the request; and requesting, on the basis of selection command of a user, the remote network server to play the multimedia file. The present invention integrates multimedia playback in the rearview mirror system with cloud technology, allowing the multimedia file played via the rearview mirror system not to be saved in the rearview mirror system, thus reducing production costs of the rearview mirror system, while at the same time, by connecting the rearview mirror system to the remote network server having stored massive amount of multimedia resources, allows the rearview mirror system to acquire abundant amount of multimedia files for playback, thus providing the user with great convenience and greatly enhanced entertaining feature of the rearview mirror system.
