<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce waste of a printing medium. <P>SOLUTION: Printing length calculation means 7 calculates a printing length L for the printing medium on the basis of adjustment information on a commodity and comparison determination means 8 determines whether or not printing is performed on the printing medium and printing means 3 is made to issue a receipt on the basis of the adjustment information according to a comparison result between the calculated printing length L and a length of residual quantity of the printing medium. The printing can be performed without wasting the printing medium according to the printing length L on the basis of the adjustment information, and opportunities of making a customer wait for replacement of the printing medium or reprinting on the replaced printing medium are reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
