<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide configuration means that has serial multistage connection of output ends of respective unit inverters outputting a single-phase AC voltage of an arbitrary frequency and amplitude after conversion, and is suitable for a power converter. <P>SOLUTION: A U-phase of a three-phase inverter is formed by connecting one ends of outputs of respective unit inverters 11, 21, and 31 with each other, and connecting the output ends of the respective unit inverters 11 to 13 in series in multi-stages. A V-phase and W-phase of the three-phase inverter are formed in the same way. At this time, a control device 50 or 57 commands that polarity of an output voltage of the unit inverter 12 is to be the inverse of that of the unit inverter 11 and 13, in order to shorten connection paths among the output terminals of the respective unit inverters 11 to 13 and make the output voltages of the respective unit inverters 11 to 13 be added to each other; which is applied to unit inverters 21 to 23 and unit inverters 31 to 33 in the same way. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
