<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallax image acquisition device including a monocular optical system that acquires high-quality parallax images with a simple configuration without involving an increase in cost. <P>SOLUTION: A parallax image acquisition device comprises: a lens housing; an imaging optical system that has a plurality of lenses installed in the lens housing, and forms a subject image on an image pickup device; and an optical axis variable member that has an optical surface arranged on the front side of the imaging optical system, and adjusts the optical surface in such a way that the imaging optical system has either one of a first optical axis for providing a first subject image and a second optical axis for providing a second subject image.
