<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelf receiving device easily installed between installation parts and properly supporting a flat shelf plate such as a glass shelf plate. <P>SOLUTION: The shelf receiving device includes: a shelf receiving body 21 installed across a pair of a front reinforcement and a rear reinforcement of installation parts, and extending to between the front reinforcement and the rear reinforcement; two first engagement claws 21d present in one end part of the shelf receiving body 21, and capable of simultaneously engaging/disengaging with engagement holes formed in a plurality of vertical parts of the corresponding front reinforcement from the horizontal direction; two second engagement claws 22d present in the other end part of the shelf receiving body 21, and capable of simultaneously engaging/disengaging with engagement holes formed in a plurality of vertical parts of the corresponding rear reinforcement from the horizontal direction; and a fixing bolt 23 being a restriction part restricting a positional shift inside a horizontal plane including a disengaging direction from the engagement holes of the engagement claws 21d, 22d in a position wherein the first engagement claws 21d and the second engagement claws 22d engage with the respective engagement holes of the corresponding front reinforcement and rear reinforcement.
