PURPOSE: A scroll compressor is provided to easily and tightly fix a filter member as a filter member is place on a first stepped surface and a suction pipe is placed on a second stepped surface. CONSTITUTION: A scroll compressor comprises a sealed container, a fixed scroll, a rotary scroll, a suction adaptor(100), a suction pipe(5), and a filter member(110). The rotary scroll interlocks with the fixed scroll, and forms a compression chamber. The suction adaptor penetrates the sealed container, and connected to the suction hole of the fixed scroll. The suction pipe is inserted into the suction adaptor. The filter member is inserted into the suction adaptor, and separates foreign matters from refrigerant flowing into the compression chamber. The suction adaptor is formed on one or more stepped surfaces, and the filter member is fixed to the stepped surface. The stepped surfaces comprise first and second stepped surfaces(101,102). The filter member is placed on the first stepped surface and supported in the direction of the fixed scroll, and the suction pipe is placed on the second stepped surface to support the filter member in the direction of the suction pipe. |
