This valve is used for changing the direction of passing reaction mixtures in contact devices, and for rendering harmless waste industrial gases, in the chemical industry and non-ferrous metallurgy. It ensures equal intervals of closure (opening), good compactness at relatively low efforts, and reliability when working with aggressive fluids. The valve consists of a corpus (1) with conjunctive flanges (2), in which are positioned two saddles (3 and 4). The upper saddle is fastened via a support barrier (5) to the corpus, and the lower saddle - to a cylindrical part of a conjunctive brass connector (6). Between the two saddles is positioned a mobile plate (7), which is located among four guiding rods (8), located at 90 degrees to one another. The plate and the saddles (3 and 4) are with conical filling surfaces. The plate is fastened to a stem (9) by a spherical hinge. The filling of the stem to the corpus is implemented by an oil-seal chamber (10). In the top part, there is an oil seal stuffing (11), and in the bottom end is a distribution ring (12), connected to a highway for dry air under pressure, that is higher than the pressure of the fluid in the valve.
