This method is used for extracting colour layering of metallic oxides on glass. It is used in construction and architecture. The extracted, thin metallic oxide coatings are even in thickness and compactness, with good chemical resistance and a low coefficient of refraction. On the glass surface is layered a ground layer of alcoholic solution of potassium acetylacetonate. After drying and thermal treatment at 380 to 500 degrees C, a second coloured layer is placed, of acetonate and non-ferrous metal solutions, preferably zinc, cobalt, nickel and iron, separately or in combination. After removing the solvents, then follows a thermal treatment at temperatures between 380 and 500 degrees C.
