The method for washing in an automatic washing machine improves that the washtube breakage and noise caused by an expansion of the washer in a dehydration processing can be prevented by lowering a washer's temperature. The method includes the steps of: washing the laundry; after draining, interrupting the motor for a given time to process a reserve dehydration if the washer is more than a regular temperature, then after repeating an intermittent dehydration process if it is under the regular temperature, and processing a rinse out; and after draining, if it is more than the given temperature, proceeding the the motor interruption and the reserve dehydration to lower the washtube temperature and then processing the dehydration after the intermittent dehydration process if it is under the regular temperature.
