The invention relates to a stand, in particular a transportable stand (1), having step elements (2) that can be pulled out of a support frame, which is substantially cuboid-shaped and in which they are disposed in the transport position or rest position, in a horizontal pull-out direction (F) into the usage position in a telescoping manner along support profiles (3) which are disposed in the lateral end region of the step elements.
