<p>The valve (1) has a housing (2) formed by a continuous cylindrical pipe segment (10) on which connection pieces (3, 4) are formed. A third connection piece (5) is formed from a cylindrical pipe segment (11) arranged perpendicular to the continuous pipe segment. A fourth connection piece (6) is formed from another cylindrical pipe segment (12) arranged perpendicular to the continuous pipe segment. Diameters of the pipe segments are reduced in relation to diameter of the continuous pipe segment. A shut-off disk (20) is pivotably arranged in the continuous pipe segment between end positions. An independent claim is also included for an air separation system.</p>
